Todd Kertis of Crossville, TN tweeted early today that it was a "good morning" with a picture of the sunrise. After taking a deep dive into the legitimacy of the issue, our fact checkers have determined that it is not true. Far from it actually.
In just the surrounding 1200 miles of where Kertis claimed it to be a "good morning" 73 different people have passed away. 15 of which were in a 12 car pile up not more than 300 miles from where Kertis lives. After further investigation we have found that over twelve pet owners forgot to secure their homes in one way or another which led to 14 pets (cats, dogs, birds, and 1 ferret) escaping, never to be seen again.
It did not take long for us to find that Kertis himself is not having such a "good morning" as he claimed. Just last night his fiance was seen leaving a hotel room with a different man, and his mother told our fact checkers that she only has 2 sons and doesn't know who Todd is, even though local records show she is clearly his biological mother.
And how can Kertis claim that it is a good morning when this reporter went into the local gas station this morning only to find they were out of the taquitos that they normally have ready every morning. This type of lackadaisical announcement and flippant disregard for the truth is what has brought so many people to distrust media in all forms. Be careful what you read.
Update: Kertis himself did not know that his fiance had been cheating on him until this article. He was also unaware that he was adopted until our fact-checkers found his biological mother in search of the truth. The local gas station also had the taquitos, they just moved the rotating station to the other side to make way for the new bakery.
