West Virginia Couple's Wedding Goes Viral for Breaking the Kissing Tradition

By: Brian Garcia, WTL
A wedding in West Virginia has caused a stir on social media after the couple broke a long-held tradition and opted not to kiss after exchanging their vows. Guests were stunned as the brother and sister simply held hands and smiled at each other after being declared married.
"It's just not right to kiss your sibling," said the bride, much to the surprise of the guests.
The couple's unique approach to the traditional wedding kiss quickly went viral, with people all over the world weighing in on the debate. Some were supportive of the couple's decision, saying it was a refreshing change from the typical wedding rituals. Others, however, were quick to criticize, calling the couple's approach to the kiss "weird" and "disrespectful."
Despite the mixed reactions, the brother and sister were unfazed. They were simply happy to have finally tied the knot after seven years of dating and were looking forward to starting their new life together.
"We know we're not like other couples, but that's what makes us special," said the groom. "We do things our own way, and we're happy with that."
In the end, the couple's unconventional approach to the wedding kiss was just one of many memorable moments from their big day. And as they look back on their wedding, they will always be proud of their decision to do things their own way, even if that means skipping the kiss.
So, the next time you're at a wedding and the couple doesn't kiss, don't be too quick to judge. They might just be taking a page out of this West Virginia couple's book and doing things their own way... as brother and sister, husband and wife.
