In a world where inflation is driving up prices and crushing small businesses, one Amish couple has found a surprising new market for their butter: the local pot shop.

For years, Eli and Esther Yoder of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, have been known for their delicious homemade butter, churned by hand in the traditional Amish way. But when inflation hit and the cost of living skyrocketed, they found themselves struggling to make ends meet.

"It's just getting harder and harder to get by," said Eli, a soft-spoken man with a bushy beard and suspenders. "We didn't want to compromise on the quality of our butter, but we needed to find a new market if we were going to survive."

That's when they met Jim, the owner of the local pot shop, who was looking for a new supplier of cannabutter, the popular marijuana-infused ingredient used in many edible products. The Yoders were initially hesitant, as they had never even heard of cannabutter before.

"We're not ones for the devil's lettuce," said Esther, shaking her head. "But Jim was very persuasive, and he promised to pay us a fair price."

So the Yoders started churning out batches of cannabutter, using the same high-quality ingredients and methods that had made their regular butter so popular. To their surprise, the cannabutter was a hit, and they soon found themselves with a steady stream of orders from the pot shop.

"I never thought I'd be putting Amish butter on my weed brownies," said Jim, the pot shop owner. "But these guys really know how to make a quality product. And the customers love it. We've even had people coming in specifically asking for 'Amish cannabutter'."

One of those customers is Lil Spammy Treats, a local man who says he's been using the Yoders' cannabutter in all his cooking lately.

"I don't know what they put in this stuff, but it's amazing," said Lil Spammy, his eyes glazed over. "It's like the butter just melts into the pot and makes everything taste better. I even put it on my toast in the morning. It's that good."

Despite the unusual turn their business has taken, the Yoders say they're just happy to be making ends meet and providing a quality product to their customers.

"We're not in this for the money," said Eli. "We're just trying to get by and do what we love. And if that means making cannabutter, well, so be it. It's all God's plan, after all."
