BOSTON, MA - In a chance encounter that has left him lovesick, local man John Smith fell head over heels for a woman he saw in the car next to him at a traffic light on his morning commute.

"I couldn't believe my eyes," Smith said, his voice quivering with emotion. "There she was, this beautiful woman with the most incredible eyes I've ever seen. It was like a scene out of a romance movie."

Smith, who has been single for several years, was stopped at a red light on his way to work when he first laid eyes on the mysterious woman. He didn't get her name, but he remembers her bumper sticker "if you can read this, you're too close".

"I was just minding my own business, listening to the radio, when I happened to glance over and see her," he said. "I swear, time stood still for a moment."

Despite not even knowing her name, Smith admits he spent the rest of the day at work daydreaming about the woman he saw at the traffic light, even going so far as to doodle her bumper sticker in his notebook during a particularly boring meeting.

"I couldn't help myself," he said sheepishly. "I know it sounds crazy, but I feel like I've met my soulmate. Even if it was just for a moment at a traffic light."

Despite his infatuation, Smith knows he may never see the woman again, as their cars turned in opposite directions after the light changed.

"I know it's a long shot, but I'm hoping she'll see this article and realize that I'm the man of her dreams," he said, with a hopeful glint in his eye.

As for the woman in the other car, she has yet to be identified, and it's unclear if she even noticed Smith's longing gaze. But with a bumper sticker like hers, it's clear that she has a sense of humor and a playful spirit - qualities that only serve to make Smith more smitten.

For now, Smith is left to ponder what might have been, and to dream of the day when he and the mystery woman can meet again, perhaps at another traffic light, where their love story can continue to unfold.
